FAQs

What is LIIARC?

The London International Investigations and Asset Recovery Conference (LIIARC) was established as a collaborative, cross‑industry initiative to bring together professionals working in investigations and asset recovery in a way that goes beyond individual firm or organisation‑led events.

By joining forces, the organisations involved aim to create a practitioner‑focused forum that encourages open discussion, knowledge sharing and engagement across disciplines, including legal, advisory, enforcement and insolvency perspectives.

Who sits on the LIIARC committee?

LIIARC is overseen by Charles Russell Speechlys, Grant Thornton, Ogier and Wilberforce. The committee works collaboratively to shape the programme, review session proposals and makes sure the conference remains relevant and practitioner‑focused.

Who is LIIARC aimed at?

LIIARC is aimed at working professionals involved in investigations, asset recovery and related fields, including lawyers, insolvency practitioners, forensic experts, regulators and advisers.

Do I need to be a member to attend LIIARC events?

No, there is no membership requirement to attend LIIARC events.

Are LIIARC events free to attend?

LIIARC events are free to attend.

Can I register for individual sessions or do I need to attend the full conference?

Delegates can register for individual sessions rather than committing to full days or the entire conference. Each event requires separate registration.

When will the sign‑up links for LIIARC events be available?

Sign‑up links for individual LIIARC sessions and social events will be released on a rolling basis as the programme is finalised. We recommend checking the website regularly for updates as links go live.

When will the drinks receptions be available to register for?

Registration for drinks receptions, including the finale drinks, will open separately from the main conference sessions. Details and sign‑up links will be published on the website once confirmed.

Are all LIIARC events held at one venue?

LIIARC events are hosted across multiple venues in London. Each session page will clearly confirm the venue details for that specific event once registration opens.

Will I receive an email confirmation after registering?

In most cases, you will receive a confirmation email after registering for a LIIARC session. As LIIARC events are hosted by different organisations and use different registration systems, confirmation emails and formats may vary. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder or use the contact details provided on the relevant session page.

Will any talks or workshops be live streamed or recorded?

LIIARC sessions are delivered as in‑person events. At this stage, sessions are not live streamed or recorded for later viewing unless expressly stated on the event page.

Is there a mailing list I can join for future LIIARC events?

LIIARC does not currently have a central mailing list. However, if you would like to be contacted when the 2026 LIIARC schedule is released, and you consent to Charles Russell Speechlys LLP holding your contact details for this purpose only, please contact nathalia.cantor@crsblaw.com.
